What a joke when the CEO for a fashion company that makes items for rich people is the richest person in the world.

Mathematically it makes sense, but shows the state of the world.

Those products literally don't add any helpful value to the planet.

If these rich mfs got enough money to buy a bunch of meaningless crap to that level:

Tax them mfs harder. They're obviously good for it.

Crazy LVMH owns most of them luxury brands

Whats even crazier is that dude is the richest man in the world off of luxury brands, perfumes and liquor. Basically shyt you don't need and isn't essential to your day today day lives and has no impact on anything you touch.

For example even a part of Bezos and Elons wealth is tied up to essential needs. Bezos with his cloud system in which damn near every western world company uses and Elon with his rocket empire that helps place commercial satellites (in which we all need) into space.

Even Guantam part of his wealth is tied up in mining and oil.

Gates wealth is tied up with Microsft which most of us couldn't do day to day tasks at work or at school without windows and MS office.

Even Buffet wealth is tied up in Berkshire Hathaway which insurance on bonds, Geico, partially owns flying J, Kraft Foods, Coco Cola, Natural gas and oil distributors and etc.

This is amazing whether you consider it good or bad. If you go back a decade at a time for say at least the last 90 years the richest person in the world normally made their money from oil, communications/media, real estate, defense contracting, technology and engineering / science (think Howard Hughes or Henry Ford), banking or a combination of them all.

the owner of the company i work for was previously owned by a billionaire precious metals investor

he literally gave ownership of the business to his daughter (the current business owner)

the bytch majored in English in university...... :unimpressed:

I’d let my kids major in some bullshyt too :manny: As long as they know how to run MY business idgaf

Send them to get a MBA so they look more legit I guess but that’s it. I wouldn’t make my kids major in math or hard shyt just to say they did cause we all know where they’re gonna be working after college
