Don't get 9th century paternity test, brehs
It wasn’t his kid
Ivar needs to raise a army and take back kattegat
Far as he knew
Doggy, #1 everyone knew that Ivar because of his disease could not impregnate a woman. They said that when his father was still alive. They repeated it again when he married the chick.
#2 when she realized she couldn't get pregnant by him they showed you how she went and fukked another dude to get pregnant and then killed him once she confirmed she was pregnant.
#3 Ivar himself was stunned when she said she was pregnant and then questioned wether it was his child once the child was born.
What else do you want
He killed her baby. Ladies don't forget that.
Yeah it didn't work for me
English court drama is what makes game of thrones game of thrones, its the reason the show exists in the first place, had it not been for the viking raids on Britain, there would be no show, or maturation of western culture, those descendants would then decide to discover America.
But like you I only watch vikings for the looting and plundering, I save my English court drama for game for thrones
The problem with Vikings is the English court drama is done waaaay better on a show like Game of Thrones. Just better actors, dialogue, storyline plotting and character development overall. It worked better when they had King Eckbert in that region. One because he was a really good actor and his relationship with Ragnar was intriguing. Things that should have had a bigger impact like ol boy betraying his brother, Judith killing him etc, end up being just a
All of the Floki stuff has been and pretty much a waste for me.
The show does excel in the scenery and battle scenes. Some of the landscape shots continue to be and both Ube's fight and the raid on Kattegat were well done.
Thats the thing, dude is a great actor. Many shyt on him because he replaced Sam Waterson as Jack McCoy's replacement in the lead prosecutor role in Law & Order. He'll never live up to McCoy's status but he aint no slouch either.
But to be fair the show runners knew it was coming to an end so they rushed it and didnt take the time to develop these new sets of characters like they did Ragnar, Floki and Lagertha. They tried with Bjorn to some degree but he's just not that great of an actor and is limited in dialogue.
the young king of Wessex is a better actor than yall give him credit, that monologue that he gave during the battle was pretty good
I dont question his nor his deceased "father" (Aethelwulf)'s acting skills. But the show runners never gave either enough screen time to really develop the characters because the show was coming to an end and they needed to wrap up that storyline. Eckbert got much more screen time than he did.
I just got done watching the midseason premiere. Brehs what is that foreign language that Bishop Heamond is always speaking?
Before Latin influence
Both parts on season 5 are now on amazon prime
