If there was another solution it would have been done already. If you had physical games on the PS4 and an all digital PS5 they do nothing to allow you to access those games. Won't even exchange the disc for digital copies.I understand the dilemma. I'm just saying there could be a solution we're not thinking of

then you could turn around and sell the disc. or let the homies use your disc
afaik the discs have no unique identifier. if they did, you wouldn't need to have the disc in the drive after you install
