caddys fell off after the 80s

They all look pretty dated to be honest
Thats what they're going for. The allure of Cadillac today is supposed to be on some bygone era type shyt when GM was King and most cars had V8 engines. Cadillac knows what they target market is, and that market wants that look. Most of the popular American cars in the last decade have all taken styling cues from past when it comes to body styles. GM tried to copy the Japanese in the late 80's and early 90's and it failed miserably. Making smaller cars with rounded off cute looking body styles and weak engines that are good on gas is not what the average GM buyer wants. Caddy, Buick and Chevy lovers are in heaven right now because GM is actually putting out cars that nikkas lust over again.

Cadillac is too p*ssy to make any of those cars. Expect more glorified 300s from GM going forward.
The XLR, ELR and XTS were all concepts first. and made it into production within 5 years. Even the other cars have the design influence of their concepts. You're pretty much seeing that with no other car company right now.
and what's wrong with a 300? When you actually buy a decent level of trim its as nice as anything out there.

Nope. Not in the least bit. GM's chassis design right now is second to none. Both the ATS and CTS are the best handling cars in their classes. I don't expect anything less from the next crop of GM cars(ie LTS, Escalade, ATS-V, CTS-V, ATS Coupe).
