fukk Bill Murray, not the actor, the deadbeat dad the smacked
then left her with rats after he snapped her
The b*stard inventor that bent her backwards in winter
with her back against the wall, she can hear death singing in her
With her back against the wall, she still head death singing in her

Great album and huge improvement from his debut, very focused. Its a shame that the follow up (depart from me) couldn't hold a candle to it. I didn't even know kill the architect had been released, I'll have to check for it

Love this album, but it was put together better than MFTB but I think I still revisit that album more for the stand outs. Subtle art of the breakup song is easily one of my favorite story telling tracks.

all time, he isnt a top 20 mc or nothing, but all time hes one of my fav rappers ever. dude is nasty, that album was incredible. i didnt even know he had a new album until the other day. it was ok but it had some joints
I feel the same way. He is literally one of the most underrated in history.
Hell's Winter is his classic. There's not one 'bad' track on it.
But yeah the follow-up and Kill the Architect are weak in comparison. All the punk/alt influence is weak, should have kept it 100% hip hop like he did prior.

also, departt from me WAS HORRIBLE... but the new kill the architect is way better than it. its got like 5 classic cage style songs. the corny songs remind me of the depart from me phase tho n bring it down. cage never dropped a reeeal classic until hellz winter tho. most his albums were half n half to me despite him being one of my favs in that era.

underground in the 2000s man...:wow:

cage > mf doom > can ox > non phixion > jedi mind tricks > living legends > little brother > cunnilynguists > atmosphere > one be lo > last emperor > dilla/nunjabes/madlib/el-p... the kids today muist not love hip hop liek they used to
