No it doesn’t, just like black people not voting for Ben Carson doesn’t negate wanting to see another black president or how opposing Clarence Thomas doesn’t mean we don’t want more black SC justices. It’s one thing when a person may loosely fit your political values, at least in party name, but crossing party lines for ID politics rarely happens
