I lived there for 34 years and still can't understand the hype

A lot of baddies I follow (actresses in particular) go there all the time. What's the deal?

They go there cause it's the middle of nowhere, and they can do drugs,be musty, and pretend they're experiencing what life was supposed to be.

it does offer on of the best places in southern california to see the sky without light pollution.
