Unless the process is automated at every stage, and several tests are applied and not too many chances are left to a human to do the right thing, this can work.

But Gonna need to stock up on bottled water. Or buy land big enough to drill and get my own water ground water.

Or make your own water.

Yea recycled piss ain’t nothing less than a last, last resort.

I'm still confused why state governments have not invested in converting ocean saltwater into drinking water
It requires a lot of energy and produces a lot of waste. Also can kill fish.

I'm pretty sure there are a couple of desal plants that can be used in emergency situations.

Yes true, but scientists have predicted this water shortage 30 years ago. Seems very lazy on the government's part

Converting wastewater to make it just clean enough to be put back into the bodies of water takes alot of time and money. And then converting that water into Fresh Water takes even more money and time. Now the government is about to waste so much more money than if they just planned ahead
