California is currently being hit by multiple back-to-back hurricanes. This needs to be its own thread.

I trust the federal government, FEMA and biden administration to spare no services in supporting California unlike trump who blamed california for their own wild fires during that period when alot of folks were losing their homes and livelihoods. I trust newsom and biden to handle this in a sensible and responsible way,
banning books and screaming woke every 2 seconds is easy actually governring during a weather event like this is real test of character and leadership ability

Minus the deaths and home losses, we needed this. This and the upcoming storm next week will have reservoirs back to capacity and will solve our drought problems. Luckily I live in an area of San Diego where the average elevation is over 500 feet and my home isn’t on a hill side or in danger of a mudslide.

After wildfire and drought, too much rain causes catastrophic mudslides. This is hurting way more than helping.
Good looking out. Not familiar with the topography of Cali but I would assume the extreme dryness and oversaturation would create mudslides.
