church folks are naturally conservative. Hilary is a conservative candidate.
I will use my father as an example...he was a part of the 90's boom that started under OG Bill...He saw Bill endear himself on tv to African Americans and is technically a low information voter as he wont fact check anything and only watched the primary debate that was for his state (Arkansas)...He also watches the news everyday and the news is generally heavily biased for Hillary...that is why I am not upset at people in his age bracket because for them the system under Bill looks on the surface to have worked for them and the assumption is that Hillary will bring that back
A lot of older blacks felt like times were "good" under Clinton. It's all nostalgia it seems. Also just like Swaggatron said a lot of older blacks rely on CNN and 5 PM news segments to inform them of these candidates. They don't go online to fact check or seriously look at there policies.
Church folks are SOCIALLY conservative. Not fiscal conservative. Its not like Hillary is anti-gay marriage. She's as SOCIALLY liberal as Bernie. The huge difference between the two is on economic and foreign policy.
The bytch is conservative in the sense she's a corporate stooge that'll sell out the middle class for her corporate donors.
There is no reason for church folks to align with her based on policy.
