Apple today announced a new ninth-generation iPad at its "California Streaming" event, which features an A13 Bionic chip offering up to 20% faster performance, a True-Tone display, an upgraded front camera, and more.

Apple Watch Series 7 is being shown off for the first time today as part of Apple’s September iPhone 13 event.


The larger display shows more content on the screen and features edges that show clock faces from the sides. The new display supports a full keyboard for text input as well. The display is brighter during indoor use as well.

Apple says the Series 7 has the most crack resistant glass with IP6X certification for dust resistance and the same water resistance rating. Charging has been improved with 33% faster speeds, 8 minutes of charging to last for 8 hours of sleep tracking, and 45 minutes to go from 0 to 80%. This new charging method will use USB-C and the current magnetic charging puck.

Apple Watch Series 7 will be available ‘later this fall’ according to Apple — that means no exact release date yet — which lines up with reports of production delays in recent weeks

At its September event, Apple today announced the new iPhone lineup: iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. iPhone 13 prices remain the same as lsat year, from $699 and $799 for iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13. Base storage has been bumped to 128 GB and a 512 GB storage configuration is now available.

The iPhone 13 design is mostly the same as the iPhone 12, however the display notch at the top of the screen is slightly smaller in width; Apple says about 20% smaller. The dual cameras of iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini are now arranged diagonally in the rear module

The ‌iPhone 13‌ Pro starts at $999, while the ‌iPhone 13‌ Pro Max starts at $1099. ‌iPhone 13‌ Pro and ‌iPhone 13‌ Pro Max pre-orders open on Friday 17 September, with devices first arriving to customers on Friday, 24 September.
