Call of Duty now has 3 devs... moving to three year development cycle.

pretty much. I was saying in another thread that this sort of thing makes it hard to really do anything new. normally you'd put out a game, and use reactions and lessons learned in that game to progress the next game. here when they release one game, they're already well into the next game

Most of the MW3 SP I believe. Raven and gutted IW handled the MP. They pulled Sledghammer from some 3rd person COD spinoff they were making when they key people from IW dipped to Respawn.


This has been rumored for a while with everybody thinking Sledgehammer is dropping MW4 this year.

Then Treyarch dropping BLOPS 3 next year since it'll be 3 years since 2.

Then IW will drop Ghosts 2 in 2016 .

I'ma have low expectations for Ghosts 2 and MW4, both of their predecessors were awful.

Agreed. COD in the first couple of months has tons of issues/glitches. This extra year should fix all of that and make the game much more polished.
