Alex Kline got pretty much every 15 year old out here with a twitter account and a Rivals membership thinking their recruiting gurus now. Props to him tho, he hustled his ass off and did the smart thing going to Cuse knowing all of those alum in sports media is gonna really have him on when he gets done with school.

The cacs out there should be drug through the mud and slammed by the national media. 3 final 4s. They will be better without Bazz and Drew if anderson comes back.

Those faggits better resurrect the financial wizard of Westwood Sam Gilbert cause there is no title lock coach out there... The 3 best young coaches Stevens/Smart/Hoiberg 2 aren't leaving and does Smart get the talent to play that style

Sean Miller look real smart with that Zona gig

Right.

We were made out the bad guy for letting go of "10-Loss Tubby" and he only went to 1 Final Four in 10 years at Kentucky (1998).......and that was with Rick Pitino's players who had went to back 2 back Championship games already in 1996 & 1997:rudy:

This dude took his OWN players to the Final Four 3 times in 10 years including the 2007 Championship:ufdup:

Yall acting like top recruits be dieing to play at UCLA. Other than westbrook and Love and maybe collison/Shabazz UCLA hasn't been recruiting top talent. So why not get a shaka smart or Brad Steven who can teach these cats how to hustle and play team ball instead of being garbage like they now

Westbrook wasn't a top prospect coming out of high school. You going off nba results. And UCLA has been been getting quality talent pretty much year end year out with Howland. Pretty sure this has more to do with his style of play and that report that came out last year that shined a pretty negative light on him and the program. Even though they haven't been making deep runs the past few years, his resume was solid enough for him to keep the job off production alone. I believe if that report hadn't come out last year dude would still have a job.

This opening has Shaka Smart written all over it and I don't think Smart turns down this offer this time.

I can see UCLA firing this guy and i agree with it. UCLA is a basketball power but you wouldnt know it from the way they played

Whens the last time they did sht in the tourney? Since that final four where memphis and john calipari whooped dat ass, what noise have they made? Indiana is back, Duke and UNC are rolling, Kansas and Kentucky just played in the title game

ucla use to be THE place to ball on the West Coast. the fact that everyone done forgot it since tells you how hard they fell off

This is why I'm not gonna write Shabazz off as disappointing. With Howlands offense he could fukk around and be balling in the league and just never really got to showcase his ability there. They didn't run many iso's for him, I mostly saw catch and shoot situations, post ups, and buckets off cutting. Though I remember him being really left hand dominate, I do recall him being more of a creator in high school for his shot. I know the level of comp is elevated, but I think there's more to his game than what we saw at UCLA.
