See no problem with this. We've seen this movie before with Blake Bortles and the Jaguars. Mediocre QBs can put up great numbers with a elite defense and elite run game.

I don’t disagree with what Cam said. It’s just HOW he is saying it and he is coming off as a hater.
Brock in the Super Bowl could fumble a ball, jump on the ball, pop up, run around, then throw a 80 yard bomb to Aiyuk for a TD. And Cam will give credit to Aiyuk for catching the ball..
I don’t know why it’s so hard for folks to admit they were wrong about their assessment on Brock and just give him his proper props. Not saying to call him the MVP or anything..just say that the boy can ball.

I wouldn't even necessarily disagree with that but Cam's tone comes off as haterish. I would say Brock is between 8-10.

You can do that with any QB that’s winning and that’s what the NFL does because THEY SELL QUARTERBACKS.
The circumstances of the team he plays for is that they drafted him to play for the team he plays for. He did just fall out of the sky. When Dobbs went to the Vikings and pulled out those wins there was no narrative about circumstances of Minnesota being stacked with talent. When Drew Brees was throwing 5 yard slants that receivers were taking 70 yards there was no narrative about his skill or talent. CJ Stroud says I’m surrounded by talent and all I do is get the ball to the playmakers and everyone respects it. Brock Purdy said the same thing and people turned it into him admitting he’s not good. Dude gets a lot of hate for just playing football and minding his business.
