Cam stay lying.

Juelz wanted out of his deal with Cam because he wasn't getting paid. So he asked for his walking papers, and a chance to field offers from other labels. Cam refused to let him out of his deal with him, and also blocked Santana from getting bread off collabos. He wouldn't clear any of them, so Juelz couldn't get money.

Nike wanted to use the Chris Brown joint with Juelz for a commercial, but Cam wouldn't clear Juelz's vocals for the spot. So he didn't get paid for it. Santana's album that he was supposed to do with Wayne got blocked too because Cam wouldn't clear him to do it. Juelz said that after Cam blocked all the work he was trying to do, he sold his contract to Def Jam for two million. So Cam keeps saying he "let Juelz out of his deal", but all he did was block all of dude's moves until he figured out a way to sell his rights to another label. That's not letting him out of a deal. Juelz said he didn't make a dime for years because Cam was blocking everything for him, and didn't even tell him he was selling his deal to Def Jam.

That's literally bad business.

This ain’t true. Cam let the nikka go and he still ain’t make NO music. Son was on drugs. Dude was getting pulled over with mad jolly ranchers and sprite in the whip. Juelz had his own studio. A nice crib. All kinda shyt. He had more than most artists that was selling more than him. Juelz was a gold artist and was living better than alotta platinum artists at the time.

He never let him go though.

Santana asked for a release. Cam blocked every move he tried to make for years. And then once Juelz asked to speak with other labels, Cam said no and then a year later sold dude's rights to Def Jam. He blocked the album with Wayne that Santana wanted to do, the Nike spot, and new features other artists asked for. Juelz couldn't make any bread during that stretch.

Letting him go, would've been voiding his deal and not blocking whatever work he wanted to do. Juelz didn't even choose to go to Def Jam. Cam sold him to Def Jam.

This. Juelz hasn't done ANYTHING since being let go by Cam. Truth is usually somewhere in the middle tho.

This part is true.

But Juelz asked for a release right after What The Game's Been Missing. Cam denied him. But told him he could do mixtape sh*t.

Wayne was staying in NYC around that time, and they recorded the songs for I Can't Feel My Face. Wayne was talking to labels about the album and shopping it, since he was also having issues with Cash Money. That's when we saw them talking about it everywhere, trying to build buzz.

When Juelz went back to Cam and asked for a release so he could officially drop the project with Wayne, Cam told him no. That's why we never got the album. Two years later, after Juelz spent years asking to be let go, Cam sold his contract to Def Jam. And Juelz didn't find out until Def Jam called him and told him they owned his rights now.

Bro ain't done sh*t since.

Was it Cam....or Def Jam? If true.

Never underestimate the ones who have the real power.

The reason why Juelz and Cam stopped speaking for years during that time, was because he said Cam wasn't letting him "go get money". Def Jam didn't own his rights until 2008. He went to Cam for the release years before that in '06, after he and Wayne recorded whatever they had for that album.

That's why he was doing all those interviews saying he couldn't drop the album until he got out of his deal. Def Jam was only distributing his first two albums. They didn't have say over his rights, at that point. After '08, they did. But as we saw, he never did anything again. Cam had the power to just let him go, but both of them said he decided not to, until he got whatever he thought Santana was worth. Cam said before that he invested in dude, so he wasn't letting him go "for nothing". Def Jam came up with the number, and he sold his contract.

But this was a couple years after Juelz was blocked from doing other sh*t. Which is what he was complaining about during that time. He didn't want to be held back until Cam was able to get a check for him.
