Can a man put himself on Child Support?

There's a child involved and the baby mother just can't get it through her head that the relationship won't work out. Can a man put himself on child support instead of dealing with an irrational emotional illogical female who nags and complains all the time and is never happy?

I know getting the courts involved is an L but it seems better than dealing with a woman who complains about random things at random times. The courts will provide some type of structure i feel. We talking about in NYC by the way

GETTING THE COURT INVOLVED IS NOT AN L.THAT PROTECTS YOU FROM HER COMING ALONG LATER AND SAYING YOU DID NOTHING AND BEING ORDERED TO PAY RETROACTIVE PAYMENTS.

Dunno how NYC work... BEFORE you do the child support. Do a parenting plan and submit it to the state.

In Florida the amount of Nights you keep your kid. Deducts from what she can claim in pay. Plus if you have insurance at work, throw em on the insurance if not on it already.

After doing those 2 things, then approach the CS. If you don't you gon' get got

Yep and it sounds like she's crazy so save receipts if you buy anything for your kid till things get sorted out.

My cousins girl started off just letting him pay her directly and stayed outta the courts....Then he got a new girl and she got mad and went to the courts and they made him pay back child support....He always told me don't ever let a woman tell you "We don't have to go to court,long as you help me it wont be no problem"....He said don't trust that shyt and put yourself on child support.....I said "" then "".....But nah hopefully it wont come to that for me.
