For you to deny that Reigns has gotten negative or mixed reactions from MOST crowds within the last year is just flat out lying. And don't pull the "smark" BS on me because I'm one of the few Reigns fans here.

Are we going to forget when they practically had Reigns in hiding during the Road to Wrestlemania when they were visiting the more "passionate" wrestling cities?

From watching NXT and the few times wwe has used squash matches recently it helps show the Audience why the act is special and gets over their spots . It's better than having acts like the social outcasts lose every week as that just devalues them and the winners .

They've been pushed as this huge legendary faction and the future stars that are supposed to carry the company...and they just seem like zigler level midcard fodder to me, pushed to the top of the card cause of a lack of legit new star power

Ziggler was never as good a worker on the indy's as black/rollins, or as Ambrose.
Ziggler only has one series of good matches and that is with Kofi.
Where Kofi had to black steamboat snap aggression carry him in said feud which was eons ago.
Despite the naysayers the shield is the best WWE/wwf style stable in the history of both call sign eras of the company.

Imo, the squash model fits better to build talent because it creates the interest of the viewer of the squasher.

Where it s no parity and that you see the performer is dominant incomparison to just some Indy guy off the streets.
It makes the promotion more important as well character to character.

I feel people would not have disconnect towards the shield members when they held the main title.

The crowd chanted "Mike Chioda" "We want Bayley" and "CM Punk" during a WWE CHAMPIONSHIP main event with supposedly 2 of the biggest future stars in the company. Maybe it's not just me who are a little sick of them too.

Oh and we get to see them again on Sunday with someone who will ripped to shreds despite being penciled in as next face of the company.
