I am a bit harsh.
I have told some of them the exact reality of their situation and its time to stop looking at relationships like they did before they had a child. There are a couple who are still sleeping around and told them to pay attention to what is going on with the other women our age (mid to late 20's). Get knocked up and be ready to possibly face a lifetime full of compromises having to be made to be in a relationship. You cannot possibly expect someone new to come into your life and have an immediate connection with your son/daughter. Even if they do...chances are there will be that moment in which the new person in your life will want to have a child with you. As humans we tend to look out for our own more than another ones seed...reality.
i think they can be, esp say you become religious, or have a child and wont live that ratchet life anymore.
however it is a vice and that temptation will arise, just like a alcoholic etc.
