Can any of y'all trace y'all's family back to slavery?

Because someone else submitted their DNA, I found the foundation of my great grandmother's (my dad's dad's mother) family. An Igbo man born in 1790, taken to America and had children with an Akan woman.

Everyone else is harder to find.

I can if I went thorough on researching

On ancestry was able to link to my great grandparents who were born in 1890s Tennessee/Missouri. Gotta get back on there and keep going further. Slavery just a generation before that so definitely can trace it if I put the time aside

Related but unrelated..I've been interested in doing this but as an African. Of course I can trace things in a sense because in my tribe for instance we have clans and stuff and place emphasis on what clan you are from and where so it gives a sense of who your relatives are and how you immigrated. The tribe itself has its lore on how people settled in. We have the same language group as related tribes in south Sudan and Uganda. It's was just a migration pattern and waves. Settling in and around the Nile and Lake Victoria. It's tribal name is Nam Lolwe..

Our origins were in Sudan and Egypt. Something caused waves of migration from there.

Tribe is Luo.Obama/ Lupita is one of us.
