Portability is my main focus, something that works while exercising.
Is the sound top or bottom heavy....I know you said headphones, but the Panasonic RP-HJE120-PPK earbuds are so good. Especially for the price.
Edit: But if I were you I would just save up for a pair of Sony MDR7506. Easily the best pair of headphones I've ever owned. I've had mine for about 3 years now, and the sound quality is so good.

What's the deal with hi-fi headphones? Are they any different? My phone has a hi-fi option that is suppose to sound better. Is it just a better headphone?
Alot of us broke outhereI don't want to sound snarky but, audio is the one place that spending money is actually wroth the investment.
You buy cheap and that's what you get, from build quality to sound quality.![]()

What phone do you have?
Hi-fi headphones provide specific specifications tweaked towards soundstage of audio, treble and bass. They give a clarity to the instruments including instrument separation.
A good set of earbuds or cans will give you the separation and are geared towards your taste of music. Enhancing the listening experience. Add an amp![]()
