Can having several different complexions in one family cause problems?

Let's say you're dating a caramel color woman that has a darker child. You're lightskin and have a biracial child. You two come together and have a lighter child. So now you and your lady have 3 kids that don't look nothing alike. Would this bother you? Is it something you would consider with you first met her?


I know in a perfect world, race and color doesn't matter, but in America (especially Black America) it's a major deal.

If it's not a problem for you. How would you keep the kids from having self hate issues and what not?
