Cliffs: moved into apartment and landlord didn't tell me the complex is infested with rodents. Can i sue or break lease early?
My apartment has a serious mice problem iv'e been living here for almost 2 years. And Me and my family are neat freaks so it can't be possible that it is because of our dirtiness. ever since i moved in to my apartment i have seen mice. im talking all i had was a mattress on the floor and my computer, no furniture or nothing and i saw 1 on my first night of living there. well apparently it's a whole complex issue according to several of my neighbors and a bumass family friend who also lives in the same complex failed to mention it
. So we contact management and tell them to send someone and he puts a few traps down near the oven and kitchen area. we catch 1 and think everything is gravy. a few weeks later i remember i made spahgetti and left a dish with tomatoe sauce in the sink. i turn on the light in the kitchen to get some water and i see a fukking mouse run across my stove and falls behind the oven
. man i was so mother fukking heated and disgusted. I fukkING HATE MICE! How the fukk did it get on the stove
? so for several more nights i hear them mother fukkers in my oven jumping around and fighting and shyt
. Can't even sleep because they make so much noise at night fighting/chewing on wood and shyt and you can literally hear them in the walls and the vents. so the apartment people sends exterminators and they pull out my oven/dishwasher/fridge and there was like 9 dead little mice, with big ass holes behind each one. me and my folks just looking at these nikkas like
are yall fukking serious with this nasty ass shyt? Then this dumb ass fukking maintenance man looks in the sink and was like yea, it's because you keep dishes in the sink. Man i almost swung on this dude. i said nikka before we even moved into this shyt there was mice, and god forbid we don't was the dishes(never let them pile up) everyday that's no excuse for the amount of mice iv'e seen and heard every night because we've never had this issue before. So he put down more traps under the oven and fridge and said " i recommend getting a cat
" They patched it up and they still returned about 3 days later. They ate through the carpet in my moms room coming from downstairs i guess. And they are having babies because now im seeing extremely tiny ones and multiple at a time, instead of 1. This shyt is blowing the fukk out of me, because just the other day one crawled over my fukking foot and i didn't have socks on
