would Stern allow it?

Say Kobe retires before the next season, that would mean his 30+ contract comes off the Lakers book, leaving them with shyt load of cap space.

Then after rehab, he signs a smaller deal say $10 mil a year in 2014-2015 season.

I swear if this happens...:why:

How many lakers/kobe threads are you going to create and you don't even like the team. Jesus get their dikk out of your mouth for a second and find something else more interesting for you to care about.

Norfeast groovin…
And what difference making free agents are there to do this, IF it were even allowed. Whereas in 2014 it'll be a who's who of talent, same year Kobe's K expires.

Give it up, Kobe won't be amnestied, your shytty squad will never sign him, he'll retire a Laker, you'll still hate him. So go fukk yourself. :yeshrug:

His salary counts toward the cap even if he retires so it wouldnt help the Lakers for next year even if he did. The Lakers will be in good shape after next season because all of their contracts except for Nash and Howard (if he re-signs) will be off the books.

it must have been hard to type all that with tears in your eyes.

It's ok brah, Kobe will be back :to: and he will lead the Lakers back to .500 ball and fighting for the 8th seed in no time.
