Can people with raunchy breath tell if their breath is bad?

My breath is one of my biggest insecurities. I always carry gum and mouthwash. When i used to smoke i would brush my teeth asap after every cigarette. So i was brushing like 10 times a day sometimes. It may sound od but ive smelled other smokers breath esp weed smokers breath and its i dont want anyone to ever smell me like that. I cant stand when my baby tries to be all in my face in the morning before i brushy teeth.

Two of my aunts have a bunch of rotten teeth that they refuse to see a dentist about and their breath smells awful. I have to let the windows down when they ride in the car and one of them talks constantly. I dont have the heart to tell them but i always wonder if anyone else has ever said anything
