I like that southern NJ has more of a suburban feel, even the areas close to philly. Feels like a distinct area compared to it's closest neighbor.
Northern NJ just feels like NYC-lite

North Jersey gives NY vibes in most areas, others Penn vibes.

Its almost like there are there are two Jerseys. N/S Jersey has accents, house designs, language, politics, food, weather, drugs of choice, car of choice and even the cism is different.

North Jersey - NYC metro influence. Newark, Jersey City, Orange, has that feel to it like it's another NYC borough. Then you have north north Jersey that looks like a clone of upstate NY with alot of forests and camping areas

South Jersey - Outside of Camden, its more country. One of the best agricultural areas in the US, lots of wineries, beach culture. Atlantic City. Some parts have alot of Philly influence
