Can someone explain to me why Golf is so popular? The way you hear golfers talk about the sport sounds like a cult. Mofos out here leaving work at 2 so they can golf 6 hours a day. Even hoopers aren't that obsessed about their sport. Golf is the slowest most boring sport out there. There is no energy to that game whatsoever. I can't even call it a sport when you got 60 years old who are competing at a high level. Nowadays I'm seeing a lot of Black People getting into the Golf wave. I got Black Coworkers talking about they gonna sit at home all weekend to watch the Masters on TV. I'd rather watch paint dry than watch someone else play Golf.
Can someone explain the appeal of Golf?

Go play it. That’s all I can tell you. I thought the same way until I played.
On a side note, a lot of business deals get struck on the golf course. I wish I played more when I was younger.

I have two uncles that love the game, one actually caddied for golfers in the Masters (R.I.P.) the other just loved the game. I’m not into it like them, but I appreciate it more now than ever. It’s a cool experience honestly and if you ever get a chance to experience it live you should go. I’m from Augusta and have been to the masters twice in my life. I’m in Charlotte now and have been to Quail Hallow for a couple tours.. I do think it’s funny that 60

This. When my granddad was still with us, he, my dad, brother, and I would go out occasionally, and he was always competitive.
Although it's not my favorite game, it's one of the most social sports you'll ever play. There's a lot of downtime between shots, so it's a great way to hang out and shoot the shyt.

Word. I caught on to the rules of the game by playing computer simulations. Once I understood the terminology, it was onward and upward from there. shyt don't get me started on mini-putt
