Can someone explain to me how Durant is anywhere near Brons level?

Durant is a great scorer but can we end the disucssuion that hes somehow close to Bron as a player? Brons already a top 5-10 player of all time Durants not close

The people who say that usually think Lebron is boring or don't like him very much.

Durant is a better scorer than Lebron. That's it. Lebron is still an elite scorer, a better passer, a better decision maker, and his mixture of PF strength plus PG speed mean he's a much more taxing cover over a game than Durant is.

The reason teams, especially in the playoffs, switch defenders off of Lebron so much is because he's probably the most physically draining cover in the league. The dude pretty much wears you out over the course of a series and his stamina is superhuman at times.

Instead the Heat team has actively told Wade and Bosh to fall back and let Bron have the shine, and the Thunder team has actively encouraged Sabo to do his thing. Probably not without getting injured and I love Wade. Wade defers to Lebron because Wade simply can't handle the physical toil of 82 games while being the number one priority. Not anymore.

He'd end up destroying his body. It's why Wade has flashed where he looks dominant but tends to reign it back in.

lebron is by far the best player on that team...in the nba period....so why would you concoct an offense where he wasnt the focal point?

KD isnt 'letting' players think they can guard. THEY CAN GUARD HIM....why? because he's set on simply being a jump shooter ...as long as thats what he settles for...there will always be players able guard him...or at the very least slow him down....add to the fact that the nikka is damn near 7 ft and weighs 200lbs....

Eh. Durant is actually a very good slasher and finisher at the rim. The biggest problem is that he's an average ball-handler. A pretty good dribbler, especially for his size, but an average at ball handling which are different things.

Simply put, the dude is 7 feet and lanky as Fukk so he's at a disadvantage when he's dribbling because it's easy to get underneath and make it difficult for him to get the space to blow past you or break you down off the dribble. His rip through move, to get the foul, was his way to counter that which is why you see him use it so much.

Lebron is the opposite. He's not very fancy but he is very good at always protecting the ball and his situational awareness and analysis speed means he's good at making the right adjustment to protect the ball, no matter how you try to poke it away.
