This is funny because it's not even logically explainable based on the definitions of the word "subtitle". Dude took the "slow it down", cheapened it by changing the words the 2nd go around and slapped the "subtitle" name on it. No matter how much you like Surf this is pretty inarguable.
The worst thing about it is, Conceited has now started changing some of the words the 2nd go around, so he's kinda biting Surf now. It's lazy, but if "subtitles" get the same reaction as "slow it downs" then why should Con put in the extra effort?

eh, they're built from the same concept... as far as subtitles, its basically you hear one thing but reading it helps you understand what was said... so basically if you were able to read it, you would understand it better

Have you given thought to the fact that when a video has subtitles, what you're hearing is a different language than what you're reading? Calling it a "subtitle" just doesn't make sense.
It's a lazy title for a lazy gimmick.

Not necessarily. Subtitles are simply used for when the listener can't understand what is being said. It doesn't have to be a different language per se.

Tsu's bars aren't understood by the listener so he puts them in "subtitles".

So you're saying he intends for his subtitles to be unintelligible to the listener the first time, and only understandable when he does the second time?
Nope, I'm pretty sure the intention is to have what he says mean one thing, then something else when he repeats the line (with a few words changed lol). Hate to keep harping on this but it's a terrible name for that gimmick.
