Can someone give me the run through on MarShon Brooks?

I was familiar with this guy his rookie year, he looked really promising and people were actually comparing his play style to a young Frobe. He looked really solid on offense. Nice moves and jumper. I believe he made the all rookie 2nd team and the rising stars challenge.

Im pretty sure Joe Johnson coming to BKN stunted his growth, but he got little to no playing time at all on the Brooklyn Nets and even the lottery bound celtics. And he was assigned and recalled from the D-league often.

So is there any hope left for this guy? Is it possible for him to resurrect his career in GS?

talented, but a ballhog who can't play without the ball or move without the ball, can't catch and shoot, and a bad defender.
I was a fan of dude, but he's been a disappointment (I'm a Nets fan btw)

No defense so its hard for him to stay on the floor

He has talent but he's already about to turn 25 and he's only effective with the ball in his hands. Can't defend all that well despite his length and isnt a great 3pt shooter. I suppose there's a chance he could flourish in a fast paced, free shooting team, but I think he might have tapped out potential-wise.

He was a throw in. He still has potential tho. He will need someone to get injured for any significant minutes. Kent Bazemore has been relegated to the bench, so he might be able to steal a few of his would be minutes. It's a long season

You on the left coast. Look at nick young and just know that he won't even be better than nick young.

Not a starter in this league. Too many gaps on his game. But off the bench he could probably be first scorer off the bench. He had a nice pull-up I in New Jersey.
