Around 600-700 bucks. don't need a monitor just a prebuilt computer with strong enough processor and card to handle the most current games. Yes I know it's not a lot and i know it's cheaper to build but would rather have one prebuilt cause I don't know shyt about build PCs.

is the $699 version good enough for the games though?

Don't ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever buy an Alienware PC. Unless you have stupid money to blow.

Are you capable of building your own? It's really not that hard.

it depends what you want, but I don't think you'll be happy with it overall

honestly it's gonna be hard to find a decent pre-built in that price range. at least something that I would feel comfortable recommending for modern gaming (aka keeping up with next gen consoles that are right around the corner. I'm sure plenty of cheap pre-builts could run circles around a ps3/360, but that's kinda irrelevant at this point)

you really should build your own. chances are you're gonna have to get in that box and do something eventually anyway. it's not that hard, and plenty of people can and will help you out

The Best PCs You Can Build for $300, $600, and $1200

The article is a month old (last updated). Not much has changed on the Desktop side of things in the last month.

If I have time later I can throw together a custom parts list for you.

So I got all the parts except for the video card. Can someone suggest a good one around the $150 price range.
