my service engine soon light came on yesterday, I took it to autozone to get their diagnostic test and it came back with 2 numbers

the first is for faulty evap-purge volume control and the second engine coolant sensor

I tried to take it to my normal spot to get looked at but they wouldnt be able to take a look at it for 2 weeks and I dont want to be driving around causing more damage, I called the nissan dealership and was able to make an appointment for tuesday. He told me it will be a $110 charge just for them to look at it, but that it goes towards the cost of repair if necessary.

can anyone give me any additional information

You need to find a third opinion... I never heard of a dealership charging you just to see the vehicle. that sounds like complete bullshyt. You can google the diagnostic information, take to a mechanic who knows his shyt. nissan, so japanese imports, im sure you can find someone in your area that can fix it for cheap. I had something similar happen to my charger where the sensor malfunctioned and I actually thought it was the oil pump it only costed me $100 to replace it. easy fix.

the place I normally go cant get me in until midApril and I dont want to wait that long especially if there is a chance I can cause more damage, hopefully the cost wont be over $250, luckily my last 2 OT paychecks combined have been about $1,000 and I still need to do my taxes so I have that refund check coming

Do you overfill your gas tank on a regular basis?

Is your car overheating?
