Can the mod that closed my thread please explain why

I've asked plenty of times what the rules are for threads that get deleted and which ones stay and I always get the run around. Seems like y'all just delete the ones you don't like. Is that the official policy?

Wasn't me, so I don't know... my guess is that, it was closed because the mod felt that it sucked. That's a hunch though, could be wrong.

I closed it, didn't delete it, , turned into another Stan war thread, you can do better.

The thread was calling out Stan war stuff in hopes that it stops. It was in reaction to a recent hot topic and an article and articulate thought was in the OP.

Again what are the rules? Do you just close the threads you don't like or are there some guidlines you are following.

You post this and that other smart shyt you said, but dont you want the arcadium to be a place where people can talk about games without the rampant trolling? There's plenty of members don't even go in there due to the rampant nonsense.

I genuinely do and @Liquid said event staff is the place to have these types of conversations. Being a long time member here, you can at least give me the respect of a reasonable discourse or don't respond at all.
