Looking at the landscape of the conference, there is no dominant team. OKC being healthy with Russ makes a difference but they don't have that element of Harden and he hit daggers vs. the Spurs last spring.

The Warriors look to be on the rise and gave SA some issues until losing in 6. The Clippers don't look like a threat to SA... and neither do the Lakers.

Dwight Howard to Houston would be interesting as it'd be similar to Orlando except you have a guy like Harden who can do stuff off the dribble and create for himself and others.

The Spurs do need a reliable big man off the bench, another wing off the bench, and a backup PG/SG. But if Duncan is playing two more seasons at this level and with their cap and roster flexibility, they just need to enter the postseason healthy to make another run. You KNOW they will draft someone next week that knows how to play.

I think they will finish top 3 in the west, but they arent making the finals again. They must get rid of Bonnor, blair, and manu regardless

Im not a huge fan of Neal, but I would keep him atleast another year

Yes, Kawhi Leonard and Danny green are budding stars, Tim Duncan is in his autumn years, but still a very good big, and Tony Parker is an elite PG. Manu is done and has to go, Matt Bonner while still a good shooter from 3 is inept in otherwise, they need a worker at the backup 4-5 position someone that can play the paint. DeJuan Blair is a bust and is clearly a backup not a starter.

All they need is to draft a servicable 3 and maybe (not sure of their cap situation) try to get Monta Ellis or OJ Mayo and maybe get a better big to backup (Deandre Jordan?).

If I'm not mistaken Manu, Bonner and Blair take up 18 milly in cap space.

OKC will reign supreme in the West

Only thing that makes me skeptical is Scott Brooks

If OKC unloads tha dead weight...*cough* Perkins *cough* *cough* Collison

*cough* *cough* Fisher *cough* and go get some young, athletic

guards/forwards....then they'll easily take tha West:

*Memphis scoring is ass

*San Antonio old

*Clippers don't play defense

*Lakers old

*Golden State too young and big men are ass

*Rockets too young, no big man

Lol@ saying danny green is a budding star. Dude can't dribble or pass without turning it over.

No one is beating okc man. As good as westbrook and kd are, they still aren't even in their primes, that's a scary thought for the rest of the west.

ATL…overly
It's gotta be SA then OKC. Memphis & GS on that next tier & nobody else out West is worth mentioning in serious title talks unless a big trade happens b/w now & the start of the season
