I've said this before. At his athletic prime, Kane > 5 move Taker. When they figured out they could use him as tag team fodder to elevate random mid-carders that character died. He had a short comeback with Edge but they dragged on the Lita stuff too long until it turned into unintentional comedy. The fake Kane stuff could have slow burned too but they just randomly ended it. Then they did the embrace the hate angle but Cena went over him clean and it was over.

So many opportunities wasted with him. At least he can say he beat Austin in his prime in that first blood match for the title
