Breh, what you planning to do with your htpc? I threw HTPC's in the bushes and I just rock with XBMC clients now.

You can get a cheap PC for a few hundred bucks with an i5 CPU and ram and you're good. I watch full blueray rips on it no problem. Once I decide what XBMC client I want (thinking bout getting the new Google box for $99) I'll move the PC to the basement and just stream everything to my XBMC client.

But for live games, espeically for my wiz? Reso varies, and I HATE watching my boyz in 120p

the only thing we need is an nfl version of ballstreams.... im literally hodling on to cable cause sundays is my christmas...

but yeah ive been using ballstreams on ps4 and through the vlc player on my laptop.... quality is wonderful.. only slightly better than leaguepass to be honest but there is NO delay which is so great really...

and the quality through the VLC player is legit 1080p.... makes playing madden and watching the early games a pleasure....

I got Hulu because I got it for my mom, but I just stream from the various free websites that host TV shows
The quality is the same, but the commercials don't exist on the free sites
And the free sites have more than Hulu does, airs everything 10mins after they air (usually)

And chromecast I mean, if you don't have better options then its good
But the do everything box (xb1) does everything for me
I can even stream my torrents (even MKV)

I'm not paying for no NFL app tho... Hometeam on reg TV for free every week

Showtime just updated their app for the Chromecast as well... so if your HBOGo connect has Showtime also, you can get that off them as well with the same credentials
