so i'm riding down the interstate, as i'm changing CD's the radio is on, and i hear this very generic sounding pop record and this chick is rapping over it it was so whack i just sat there with the CD in my hand for a few minutes...i literally thought to myself: "this sounds like a white girl, trying to sound black, rapping"

it sounded so corny and offensive that I thought it was a commercial - I asked siri to ID the song and it was this:




now let me say this, being that i'm 33 years old - i've heard literally hundreds of thousands of hip hop songs, plus i grew up in a city where a lot of poor white folks live and a lot of those chicks "be tryna sound all blackenshyt" so I know white chicks when they are being fake and trying to fit in

this shyt wasn't hip hop and this chick ain't authentic - anybody saying otherwise is full of shyt.

wtf is going on with hip hop? am I too old? do i need to let it go? have we officially just said "fukk it" to hip hop?

10 years ago i used to like all genres of music but now everything sounds the same to me.

Im even slowly losing my interest in Hip-Hop. I haven't known what's hip to the game anymore in the last 4 years. Hip-Hop is losing it's charm.
