Man, if Lil Jon never got in the game.
We would probably never had these trashy beats we keep hearing these days.
Trap came from Crunk.

i keep hearing about this G EAZY character.
who the fukk???
what in the fukk type of name is that, and please don't tell me the nikka is white (with a name like that)!!!!

as far as iggy - pop songs labelled as hip hop, right skin tone and right co-signs made the woman what she is!!
'first things first, i'm the realist' - hurts my ears, every single time!!!
:scust:

so i'm riding down the interstate, as i'm changing CD's the radio is on, and i hear this very generic sounding pop record and this chick is rapping over it it was so whack i just sat there with the CD in my hand for a few minutes...i literally thought to myself: "this sounds like a white girl, trying to sound black, rapping"

it sounded so corny and offensive that I thought it was a commercial - I asked siri to ID the song and it was this:

:mindblown:

now let me say this, being that i'm 33 years old - i've heard literally hundreds of thousands of hip hop songs, plus i grew up in a city where a lot of poor white folks live and a lot of those chicks "be tryna sound all blackenshyt" so I know white chicks when they are being fake and trying to fit in

this shyt wasn't hip hop and this chick ain't authentic - anybody saying otherwise is full of shyt.

wtf is going on with hip hop? am I too old? do i need to let it go? have we officially just said "fukk it" to hip hop? :mjcry:

i aint gonna hate her like some posters on here: get yo money :yeshrug: . But i had the same :scust: reaction listen to her on the radio. radio station played her song at least 3 times(during a 20mn drive :heh:). U know how lyrics to a song can be garbage but the beat goes so hard and u ignore the shyttiness of the song as a result? I just couldn't do it...Only way i can describe it is that it sounded so out of place. Maybe thats because when you in a car you tend to pay more attention to the song. I had to switch to news instead and i never listen to news :russ:

CASUAL RAP FANS and POP FANS like her.

Not "white people."

The same audience that likes Nicki likes Iggy.

Iggy fukken sucks but Nicki started this wack stripper fake butt femcee trend.

they paid for her to be played so many times bruh, they're making people "LIKE" shyt instead of it happening organically...shyt is crazy now:

Why radio stations were forced to play Iggy Azalea’s ‘Fancy’ at least 150 times
http://rollingout.com/entertainment/radio-stations-forced-play-iggy-azaleas-fancy-least-150-times/#_

"According to a story by the Washington Post, Azalea and other artists have been the benefactors of a new program set forth by Clear Channel Radio, which is the biggest radio outlet in the country.

The program is called “On The Verge” and it was designed to help new acts get more exposure on Clear Channel’s 840 stations. Program directors from all over the country vote on a variety of songs and the winning song gets a solid commitment of being played at least 150 times on all the stations for approximately six weeks."
