Can we have a edit feature for "insert quotes"

I usually skim through a lot of post but sometimes, I will post before skimming many and reply to that one. Well, then i continue to skim and see another post I want to quote but can't without making a new reply or manually copying the post. However, when manually copying, the syntax is not the same as a normal quote (+quote) so the user will not be notified of my response unless proper syntax is used. Can you guys possibly fix this? thanks

Yeah, thats how it is fam. If you edit in a quote into a post they won't get notified. You have to quote them in a new message
