Can we make more of an effort to respect our artists while they're here?

You have no idea the things these people put aside in their lives to pursue a career, earning the opportunity to entertain you. David Bowie just released an album two days ago . . an absolute music legend. No outpouring of support from peers in the industry, a few articles but barely a retweet or moment of acknowledge from other artists. Absolutely no comradely. It sounds like nothing to you who work 40 hours a week at something with your guaranteed pay or 4 years on a degree that'll give you a guaranteed job but these artists really give their lives to do what they do and they were never given a guarantee or promise of success in an industry that will forget you quicker than it'll dismiss you

But yea in today's time old artists don't do well with music so accessible you aren't forced to wait for mtv to show you what they want to show. Which really made artists relevant in its day. Now most people barely have social skills to even look away from the phone while walking let alone care about article who are senior citizens. R.i.p to that boy Bowie tho
