Can we officially rename "X-Pac Heat" to "Jeff Jarrett Heat"?

In the 2000's and beyond he was getting booed heavily even when they were trying to position him as a face. They actually stopped using him during the Invasion storyline because of this. Early on in the storyline he was opposite Billy Kidman. But fans were rooting for Kidman instead of X-Pac and it was throwing a wrench in the narrative so they pulled it.

X factor sucked, when he joined the nWo post x factor he was straight.

Rock/SCSA attained this same level of face pop, that once they were considered heel, put into heel stories, perfomed heel actions, etc... none of it mattered. The crowd loved them so much from their face runs that they cheered them through heel runs like ppl chanting Kobe at away arenas.

Never understood the X-Pac heat thing.Dude was a great worker.Could put on solid matches with nearly any scrub they gave him to work with,sorry Dean Douglas you don't make the cut.

Jeff Jarrett is awful,always has been,pushed wherever his dad was and then his buddy Russo,and now just by running his own promotions.Should have been JJ heat from the start.

Yeah Kurt Angle is an extreme case. He was both Face and Heel simultaniously so could do whatever he wanted because early on fans were confused. He was a pompous a$$hole that drips arrogence and insults so your heart says to boo him, but he was also an olympic gold medalist and all-american and genuinely good guy who drinks milk and promotes moral values so your brain says to cheer him... one of the best gimmicks ever.

I posted in the Kurt Angle thread that I used to pick him as one of my characters in the wrestling card game because his ability allowed him to use FACE actions and HEEL actions in the same deck, while every other wrestler in the game was limited to one or the other at a a time. So you could do super a-hole things like grab the ropes for leverage (heel manuever) then if they did something like eye gouge you to break the hold (a heel manuever on their part) you could snitch to the ref and get them disqualified (a face tactic)

Or you could hit them in the groin then wave to the crowd or offer them a handshake then spit in their face...
Kurt Angle is/was awesome in that game.

Jarrett never touched the belt again after 06. Once TNA's stars were established, he was able to step back and see that. HHH never did, he's doing it to this day.

This is true. He pretty much fell back after Bound for Glory 06.

yet they still tried to force cena on the crowd to this day when angle called this shyt back in 2005. I remember this promo when it happened, and it felt like the biggest shyt you could take on the push cena got. went and assured that no crowd would ever back him after this
