They do a piss poor job appealing to blacks so they only have themselves to blame. The Republican party has a horrible track record with minorities. Tea Baggers, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, Sununu etc. have made it very clear that it's a party for rich whites and blacks aren't welcome.

The biggest blessing of having Obama is not that he's the first black President...it's that he woke black people up and made them a political force!! Now these people have to pay attention to us, however it's up to us to keep going out there and voicing our opinions the only way these people care about and thats a vote. We gotta stay out there and keep voting and not just because there is a black man on the ballot, facts are facts everybody went out and voted in '08 but nobody went out to vote in '10...now Obama's on the ballot again and here we are waiting in 6 hour long line 2 vote. The only way shyt is gonna change around here is if we keep going out there and letting them know they have to pay attention to our communities.
