I really thought Mos Def had next after this one. That album was a clear reflection of what was happening in hip hop at the moment with the underground becoming mainstream. This album had everything. Battle rhymes, social commentary, singing, a club banger that everyone could agree on. And it bumped hard as hell in the whip
Mos Def was on top of his game. The one thing that made this album standout as well as it did was its soul
