Can we settle this once and for all. Are calisthenics equal to weights?

you ever male gymnasts at the olympics breh? that shyt is advanced calisthenics

there's a lot you can do with pushups, pullups, and ab exercises to hold you over until gyms are open again breh. and for cardio go outside for a run a safe distance (couple feet) from people and if you got nature like hiking and shyt you can go ahead and do that for cardio too

Depends on your goals, not complicated at all.

I found calisthenics to be more beneficial for me, I’ve used them as a workout before lifting.
However, when I wanted more power, deads, sled pushes and squats made my body more powerful, which helped me with my calisthenics.

Do some sets of heavy deads and go jump on the bar for pull ups and watch how easier they are.

I prefer calisthenics, keeps me loose.

Doing calisthenics since I'll be limited to going to the gym. I find I get swole more doing pull-ups and dips outdoors. It's a park I goto l it be some ex cons out there working out and counting sets with bottle caps
