Lil Kim and Foxy was talking about moving drugs and all that for they dude. I’m not saying either is better but the 90s chicks was degrading as well. I remember black women didn’t talk about giving head like that until lil kim. Women had more honor before them tbh.

Kim was talking about having bafoons eat her puzzy while she watched cartoons...

Salute to Kim and Foxy.

I think Trina was darker than both.

If anything, she gave the City Girls room to run. Her first couple albums had that material.

Crazy enough that I own a copy of Diamond Princess in my collection.

I think the bigger issue is the access children have to the city girls.

I remember being 9 and getting my hands on the Dogggy Style album and my pops immediately snatching it from my room.

The only way I was getting another one was scrounging up more money and waiting for my parents to give me a ride to a store. Then I’d have to sneak out another cd without them noticing the title.

These days music is so readily available. The older my kids get, the more I notice how easy it is for them get obtain to any every kind of song.

It’s a losing battle as a parent.

Yes, Trina and Khia are the grandfathers of City Girls, not Foxy/Kim

I like to know what my child listens to. One thing I do as a parent is after practice if my kid have in her headphones I’ll connect her phone to my car so I can know what she’s into. Then you talk to them and be like “you know this is fake, this music isn’t real.” “What you do in school that’s real”. The accessibility is beyond our control but we can control giving them guidance and direction. I can’t judge my kid cuz I was listening to Wutang,Snoop,Dre all that. Now if I had a son he wouldn’t listen to lil Nas x or none of them gay rappers.
