With the new wave of progressive ism due to Twitter and thinkpieces, most of the people championing it are educated people who went to school.

I don't even disagree with everything they're saying BUT how can you expect hood or lower class or whatever term you want to use to get on board with their thinking when they were not exposed to it?

I read a lot of books when I was younger but I never heard of the terms patriarchy or cis gender until twitter

And even if you reach a few adults it's never going to reach the kids until you fix the neighborhoods and kids

Most of it is just preaching to the choir...and it has me feeling a type of way

All this talk about privilege is BS in my opinion...that's just life we are not created equal genetically nor do we start at the same point in society at birth. My frustrations with life came from lack of success and wondering what the hell was the purpose for me being here. Finding purpose in life and becoming enlightened are the best ways to enjoy this short existence we have on this floating speck of dust in the universe.
