I think there should be a legitimate concern about the competency of this Thunder medical staff. I don't think the the abnormal rate of injuries to the roster this season is solely due to "bad luck". The biggest indictment is with the Kevin Durant injury, this guy had plenty of time at the start of the season to heal his foot, however his progress was impaired by an "improperly inserted screw" that was causing him discomfort and had to shut him down. I mean WTF? What kind of NBA doctor screws up the MVPs foot?

It's no secret that the OKC management are extremely thrifty. We already know they underpay training staff and managers. I'm pretty sure they cutting corners in getting a first-class medical team. This team always about cutting corners, what a shame.

Durant could have been lying about how much pain he was in and the training staff believed him. That's the only explanation though. It'd be an interesting as fukk 30 for 30

Now stfu dumbass.

Fair point. But regardless it's apparently clear that OKC didn't get the best surgeon money could buy, or even close to it. It looks to me they hired Dr. Nick from the Simpsons.

Now why would he lie about that?:what:

You calling Durant a bytch breh?

Stupid to call it "the only explanation" when you haven't mentioned a single reason as to why. Imo Durant is itching to play, he's got the best supporting group he's had in years and has a good shot at the title.

I meant he told them he was in less pain than he actually was and maybe that's they let him come back to play too soon. We agree breh

It's like the Portland Trailblazers medical staff of the 2000's...which was the worst I'd ever seen. The amount of career threatening injuries experienced by that squad in that decade was unprecedented. Then later it came out that they WERE cutting corners with hiring the right doctors/trainers, and not being forthright about injury details with players.
