Can y'all believe it use to be cool not to wear a seat belt?

In the 80s and 90s if you put your seat belt on you were looked on as a p*ssy.I knew 1 dude in my crew in high school who always wore his seat belt and everyone use laugh at that shyt like he was a nerd or some shyt.But he was being progressive as fukk.The seat belt wave aint really hit till the 2000s.Now i don't know anyone who don't wear a seat belt.I put that shyt on before i leave the drive way.I'm thinking maybe some of it had to do with how uncomfortable seat belts were in older model cars back in the day.Seat belts today you don't really feel them on you in comparison.
