Woke is a bullshyt term 99% of the time. But in past eras there were people who were ACTIVELY trying to change laws and improve conditions for Black people who maried white women. Always seemed like a contradiction to me. It was almost as if they thought that the white woman was some kind of prize and that being with her was some kind of victory of white men. You will run out of fingers and toes before you finish counting people who were instrumental is dismantling jim crow/segregation/white washing of history books/ old social practices who married white.

I feel like there's a difference between people who just happen to be with a white woman, and those that have a fetish for white skin. Being in a situation like the bolded is the difference.
