with that though.
I think yall fail to realize exactly how limited they was back then

The first ancestors went to Dominican Republic in the 1500's ...in the December months record lows are in the 60's.
The first slaves to be bought to America arrived in August of 1619 and average temperature is upper 80's ...average low being 50 degrees.
They harvested Tobacco which is harvested from April until September.
During winter months they were indoor, firewood, butchering, or processing the summer's harvest for transport.
I don't think it would've been financially wise to let your slave freeze seeing as he was an expensive investment.

. Cacs wouldn't have been able to survive without the aid of the Native Americans. Which is real sad. Them Natives should have just let them die or chase them back to Europe. With all that being said the slaves probably froze to death often breh. Some explain to
that doesnt mean they lived comfortably, didnt suffer from exposure or in some cases frost bite.
I'm sure there were many cases of frostbite and hypothermia due to negligent or ignorant plantation owners and overseers.
These men and women weren't helpless or stupid, I'm sure they invented ways to stay warm.

This nikka thought he was having a profound thought
Like the owners were going to protect their investments
Like Natives hadnt been dealing with winters for years before these cacs showed up
Like these cacs were from a place where it got cold so they didnt know how to handle it.
nikka is yo ban over yet? why you postin?
