I only ever put people that argue in bad faith on block, or those that are far removed from ability to argue in good faith. It's all I ask, I don't even care if someone disagrees with me on everything, they should at least be able to deal with hypothetical questions pertaining to the basis for positions. You could never reason with someone like that. If he won't accept remnants of dinosaurs as evidence for them having existed, he would never accept any evidence that conflicts with his position and requires him to admitting to being wrong. And imagine if these positions conflict with his religious beliefs, changing his mind will never happen. The guy is doomed, and it likely started early in his upbringing too.

I swear, there will come a time where we start recognizing, on a large scale, that the ideas that some parents rear their children on are essential forms of child abuse. I don't see how locking someone into a fixed belief state that will carry on into adulthood isn't abuse.
